Reuters: Facebook has reached a settlement with five plaintiffs who brought a class action lawsuit against the company. The plaintiffs alleged that Facebook’s “sponsored stories” which publish users’ “likes,” violated California laws which protect the right to control the use of your own name and likeness. Under the terms of the settlement, Facebook will pay $10 million to charity.

The parties to the lawsuit actually reached the settlement a month ago, but the terms were not made public until last weekend.
