Ars Technica: Dell appears to be throwing in the towel on Android tablets. Having discontinued sales of its 7-inch Streak tablet, the company will no longer be selling any Android tablets in the U.S.; it’s only tablet currently on the market is a 10-inch Streak sold in China. According to CEO Michael Dell, “the Android market has not developed the expectations [Dell] would have had.”

That doesn’t mean Dell is giving up on tablets altogether, however. The company plans to produce a Windows 8 tablet next year.
