Apple Ships OS X Mountain Lion

Computerworld: Apple has officially released the ninth major update to OS X. Codenamed Mountain Lion, the upgrade is available through the Mac App Store for $19.99.

In order to download and install the new version of the operating system, Mac owners must be running either the Lion version of OS X or a version of Snow Leopard released after June 2011. They also need an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7 or Xeon processor, plus 2GB RAM and 8GB of hard drive space.
