CBSNews: Shortly after Steve Jobs’ death was announced on Wednesday, Simon & Schuster, the publisher of his authorized biography, announced that it was moving the release date for the forthcoming book from Nov. 21 to Oct. 24. Pre-orders for the book skyrocketed, putting Steve Jobs first on Amazon.com’s list of bestsellers and third on Barnes & Noble’s list. The biography is also number one on Apple’s iTunes.
The biography was written by Walter Isaacson, who also penned best-selling biographies of Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin.
