IBM: Thanks to innovations in technology, smartphones are becoming a replacement for the personal computer. Younger workers, the development of new features, and the improvement of wireless networks are driving the growth of mobile device use within the enterprise.

Mobility offers enterprises a number of potential benefits, namely, improving productivity, optimizing logistics operations, enhancing customer relationships, reducing carbon footprints and streamlining supply chain management. However, it also poses a number of challenges, including developing an effective mobile strategy and selecting, managing, implementing and securing these new devices.
