That breaks the company’s previous record of 600,000 orders in 24 hours for the iPhone 4. “We are blown away with the incredible customer response to iPhone 4S,” said Apple VP Philip Schiller.
The iPhone 4S officially launches Friday, October 14. Pre-orders began Friday, October 7.
