The Register: In a new survey conducted by PriceGrabber, 35 percent of U.S. consumers said they plan to purchase the iPhone 5, even though they haven’t yet seen the device. What do they think the new phone will offer?

  • 59 percent want better battery life
  • 55 percent want a lower price
  • 46 percent want 4G network compatibility
  • 45 percent want a larger display
  • 42 percent want a better camera

Rumors suggest the iPhone 5 may hit U.S. shelves as early as September or as late as Thanksgiving.
