PCMag: Six Facebook users from Illinois, Hawaii, Virginia and New Jersey have filed a lawsuit against the social networking site in California district court. They allege that Facebook violated federal wiretap and electronic communications laws, and they’re asking for monetary damages and a court order that would prevent the company from tracking users after they’ve logged out.
Facebook responded to the lawsuit by saying, “We believe this complaint is without merit and we will fight it vigorously.”
