eWeek: Numerous iPhone 4S users have been complaining in the Apple support forums about dramatic loss of battery life while their phones are in standby mode. Apple has yet to address the problem officially, but some users say Apple engineers have contacted them to discuss the problem.
Observers say the problem is reminiscent of the “antennagate” problems with the iPhone 4 that caused dropped calls when users held the smartphone a particular way.
