Bloomberg: Apple has filed a complaint with the International Trade Commission (ITC) claiming that HTC’s phones and Flyer tablet infringe on five Apple patents. The patents in question cover software architecture and user interfaces in portable electronic devices, hardware for touch screens, and movement sensors. The ITC has the power to halt U.S. imports of HTC products if it decides the case in Apple’s favor.
A judge is expected to issue an initial ruling on the complaint by August 5.
