AppleInsider: Two different analysts are saying that Apple experienced a tremendous volume of sales on Black Friday. The first, Chris Whitmore with Deutsche Bank, says that 75 percent of Apple stores and 50 percent of AT&T stores sold out of the iPhone on Friday. Some Verizon stores also sold out, but Sprint had enough inventory on hand to meet demand.

The second analyst, Gene Munster with Piper Jaffray, found that Apple sold 14.8 iPads per hour on Black Friday. Tha’s 68 percent higher than the 2010 figure, and it puts the company on track to sell 13.5 million iPads this quarter.
