Bottom Line

Micro Focus offers one of the most comprehensive tools for migrating servers to or from any cloud, virtual or physical environment. Its feature set is extensive and full-featured, so it’s a good pick for any number of cloud deployments.

Cloud Storage and Backup Benefits

Protecting your company’s data is critical. Cloud storage with automated backup is scalable, flexible and provides peace of mind. Cobalt Iron’s enterprise-grade backup and recovery solution is known for its hands-free automation and reliability, at a lower cost. Cloud backup that just works.

Its PlateSpin Migration Factory tool can move up to 10,000 servers at once and includes user-based security — both of which make it a good option for large enterprises. But it can scale down as well, for smaller deployments.

It’s also well-suited for organizations pursuing a multicloud strategy. Given that multicloud will be an increasing element of cloud computing, Micro Focus should see considerable success in the years ahead.
