Bottom Line

Micro Focus offers one of the most comprehensive tools for migrating servers to or from any cloud, virtual or physical environment. Its feature set is extensive and full-featured, so it's a good pick for any number of cloud deployments.

Its PlateSpin Migration Factory tool can move up to 10,000 servers at once and includes user-based security — both of which make it a good option for large enterprises. But it can scale down as well, for smaller deployments.

It's also well-suited for organizations pursuing a multicloud strategy. Given that multicloud will be an increasing element of cloud computing, Micro Focus should see considerable success in the years ahead.
