Even before the partnership Alteryx had emerged as a rising start in the data sciences and machine learning spaces. It offers a robust collection of products and services that handle data discovery, data cataloging, data management and metadata management. It also offers data collaboration tools that aid in self-service data analytics – which, again, helps companies that cannot afford to hire outside help.

Product Description

Machine learning requires a robust data framework. Alteryx takes aim at the challenge through an approach that focuses on several key areas: advanced analytics, BI and visualization, data discover and management, location intelligence, data preparation and technology integrations.

The company has partnerships in place with Microsoft, Tableau, AWS, Hortonworks, Cloudera, Oracle and DataRobot, a leading provider of machine learning tools. A drag-and-drop interface and DataRobot plug-in make it possible to use machine learning functionality without dedicated data science skills.

The self-service framework supports parallel model analysis with predictive analytics, along with the ability to automate machine learning workflows and processes. The framework incorporates hundreds of machine learning algorithms—without the need to write code. It also includes wizards that aid in the selection of algorithms and retraining data.
