Mozilla Launches Firefox 9, Speeds Up JavaScript

Computerworld: The Mozilla Foundation has released version 9.0 of its open source Firefox browser. The new release renders JavaScript between 16 percent and 36 percent faster than Firefox 8, which was released only six weeks ago. The release also patched a number of security vulnerabilities.

At the same time, Mozilla also released an Android version of Firefox 9, which can be downloaded from the Android Market.
