Apple is Now Worth More Than the GDP of Sweden

Fortune: On Thursday, Apple's stock closed at a record high: $493.17. That increased the company's market cap to approximately $460 billion. Not only is Apple the most valuable company in the world--it's worth more than rivals Microsoft and Google combined. In fact, Apple is now worth more than each of the following:

• The gross domestic product of Sweden ($458 billion)
• All the gold in the Federal Reserve ($350 billion)
• All the illegal drugs in the world ($321 billion)
• 2.5 Apollo space programs ($145-$170 billion apiece)
• Fourteen National Football Leagues ($33 billion for all the teams combined)
