Rocky Report Card for BlackBerry Storm?

Many complaints have surfaced regarding the new touch-screen device.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that as Verizon Communications prepares to release its fourth quarter earnings, investors and the public wonder if the company will acknowledge problems with its new flagship product, the BlackBerry Storm.

Many complaints have surfaced regarding the new touch-screen device. Customers say typing on the touch-screen can be clunky, and dialing by name and taking photographs can be difficult as well.

According to the Journal, RIM co-Chief Executive Jim Balsillie says the company barely released the product by the Black Friday deadline.

In December, RIM fixed some software glitches that may have resulted from the rush to get phones out in mass volume, the Journal says.
