As a data analytics startup, DataScience received rave reviews from customers. Now that it is part of Oracle and in the process of being integrated into the Oracle Cloud, the jury is still out on how well the finished project offer predictive analytics capabilities. In theory, however, it looks promising as it will combine DataScience’s notebook-based, code-first data science capabilities with Oracle’s cloud services.
Significantly, it will likely be a good choice for organizations with experienced data science teams who rely heavily on open source tools. This is a key niche in the enterprise market.
