Computerworld: Based on interviews with 1,400 CIOs, staffing firm Robert Half Technology expects a net IT staffing gain of 3 percent this quarter. The survey found that 8 percent of companies expect to increase their IT staffing levels, while 5 percent anticipate reductions. The vast majority of those surveyed, 85 percent, plan no changes in their total headcount.
In the first quarter, IT staffing increased by 10 percent.
