Jupitermedia has launched a new Web site to preview the 802.11 Planet Conference & Expo to be held June 25-27 at Boston’s World Trade Center.

80211 Planet Live contains stories about: new wireless technologies that will be unveiled at the show, including security measures and roaming architectures; discussions about how Wi-Fi is changing business; information about keynote and panel discussions; and tips about what to do in the city after the show.

The site, designed for those attending, or interested in attending, the show, also links to other Wi-Fi resources, such as 802.11Hotspots.com, where vistors can find a complete list of access points at Logan Airport, area hotels, office buildings and coffee shops.

Kevin Reichard, a Jupitermedia executive editor and show organizer, said 802.11 Conference & Expo, is the world’s largest Wi-Fi business event, drawing speakers and attendees from small startups all the way up to heavy-hitters like Microsoft and Texas Instruments. The site will be updated regularly in the weeks leading up to the show, Reichard said.

“Our coverage will continue to the show itself, where the 802.11 Planet Live Team will be bringing you coverage from the exhibit hall and speaker rooms,” Reichard said.

For more details about the Boston show, or to register, please see the event Web site. Future 802.11 Planet Conference & Expo shows are planned for Tokyo, Sydney, Munich and San Jose this year.

Editor’s notes: Jupitermedia is the parent company of this Web site.
