eWeek: The recently released "Future of Open Source Survey" finds that 95 percent of enterprises now use open source software. A majority, 56 percent, said that more than half of the software they deploy in the next five years will be open source. And 25 percent said that at least 75 percent of the software deployed by their organizations was open source.

Lack of internal skills with the software and unfamiliarity with open source remain the biggest barriers to adoption.
