Two Larrys to Go Head-to-Head in Google-Oracle Case

The Register: Judge William Alsup has ordered Larry Page, CEO of Google, and Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle, to sit down together to try to reach a settlement in the Java patent infringement lawsuit. The two Larrys must report September 19 at 9am Pacific time, and they may have additional mediation sessions September 20 and 30.

Oracle is suing Google for $2.6 billion because it says that Google’s Android mobile operating system violates Oracle’s Java patents in 132 ways.
