Wages Stay Strong for In-Demand Skills

Computerworld: According to staffing and outsourcing firm Yoh, tech pay on the whole climbed 3 percent in the most recent quarter. However, workers with high-demand skills saw even bigger pay increases. For example, salaries for full-time workers with mobility skills rose 12 percent, while pay for contractors with these skills climbed 30 percent. Virtualization is also hot, with compensation up 5 percent for full-time workers and 15 percent for consultants.

Other valuable skills include data analysis and network hardware.
