The Wall Street Journal: Twitter will play a major role in covering this year's Olympic Games in London. In a partnership with NBCUniversal, the company is launching an Olympics hub that will feature a selection of messages from Olympic athletes, their families, fans and NBC television personalities. Twitter will serve as an official narrator for the event, and NBC will tout the Twitter hub during its broadcasts.
NBC said Twitter is not paying any money for the partnership, and NBC will not share in Twitter's advertising revenues from the event.
