Nokia to Conduct Ethics Review Into Misleading Ad Video

Bloomberg: Television commercials for Nokia’s new Lumia 920 smartphone give the impression that video and still images demonstrating the camera’s image-stabilization technology were shot with the Lumia 920, but that isn’t the case. A company spokesperson said its ethics and compliance officer had launched an investigation “to understand what happened.” She added, “What we understand to date is that it was nobody’s intention to mislead, but there was poor judgment in the decision not to use a disclaimer.”

Analysts say the advertising troubles could affect Nokia’s share price.
