The Wall Street Journal: Samsung has launched a new full-size tablet with a couple of unusual features. The Galaxy Note 10.1 features a split screen, that is, it can display two apps on the screen at once. In addition, it comes with a stylus for use with note-taking and similar apps. It's based on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, but Samsung says users will be able to upgrade to Jelly Bean. It's priced at $499 for the 16 GB version.
Samsung is currently number two among tablet manufacturers, but its tablet sales lag far behind Apple's iPad sales.
