More Businesses Eyeing Tablets, Mostly iPads

Twenty-two percent of enterprises surveyed plan to buy tablets for employees this quarter.

PCMag: A new survey from ChangeWave Research found that more enterprises are buying tablets for employees, and most of those tablets are iPads. Out of 1,604 business IT buyers surveyed, 22 percent said they planned to buy tablets for employees this quarter. Of those who purchasing tablets, 84 percent planned to buy iPads. The research firm said that marked "the highest level of corporate iPad demand ever seen in a ChangeWave survey."

In November, only 77 percent of enterprise tablet buyers planned to purchase Apple's iPad.
