Microsoft Restores Services After Crash Affects Millions Worldwide

Last night, Office 365, MSN.com, Live@edu and Windows Live Hotmail went down for users in Europe and Asia.

FoxNews: Last night, a number of Microsoft's cloud-based services experienced outages, including Office 365, MSN.com, Live@edu and Windows Live Hotmail. More than 365 million customers were affected, many of them located in Europe or the Asia Pacific region. The company issued a fix for the problem around 2:00 am ET, and Office 365 was back online by 5:00 am ET, although customers were still reporting problems with some other services at that time.

Microsoft has not said what caused the outage, but it may be related to a power blackout in the southwestern U.S.
