GigaOm: Unnamed sources tell GigaOm that both Google and Microsoft will soon unveil infrastructure as a service (IaaS) offerings to compete more directly against Amazon's EC2 cloud computing platform. Both companies currently offer platform as a service (PaaS) cloud offerings--Microsoft Azure and Google App Engine.
