The New York Times: On Wednesday, Google confirmed that it has begun testing Google Glass, augmented reality glasses that connect wearers with Google services. The company released photos of the glasses, which feature a wire rim that wraps around your forehead and a very small screen that sits over your right eye. “We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input,” wrote three Google X lab employees who worked on the project. “Please follow along as we share some of our ideas and stories. We’d love to hear yours, too. What would you like to see from Project Glass?”

One Google Glass tester commented, “They let technology get out of your way. If I want to take a picture I don’t have to reach into my pocket and take out my phone; I just press a button at the top of the glasses and that’s it.”
