Bloomberg: An oft-repeated rumor has resurfaced just before Facebook's quarterly earnings report: unnamed sources tell Bloomberg that Facebook is working with HTC to develop a smartphone for release in 2013. Reportedly, the two companies had planned to release a device this year, but pushed back the schedule in order to allow HTC to pursue other projects. The sources say Facebook is also working on its own mobile operating system.

Facebook currently has more than 900 million users, and more than half of those users access the social network via mobile devices.
