eWeek: Along with its quarterly earnings report, Dell announced that Marius Haas will take over as president of the company’s Enterprise Solutions unit. He will replace Brad Anderson, who is leaving the company to “seek new opportunities.”

Haas previously worked at HP during Mark Hurd’s tenure as CEO, and he also spent time at Compaq, Intel and, most recently, private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. “I’m thrilled to join the Dell team,” said Haas. “Dell has a strong brand, great customer relationships, tremendous talent, exceptional technology and an incredible growth opportunity. I’m excited to help realize the vision and drive the strategy forward.”
