ZDNet: According to StatCounter, Google's Chrome browser took first place in market share for one single day -- March 18. Chrome captured 32.7 percent of the market, compared to 32.5 for Microsoft's Internet Explorer and 24.8 percent for Mozilla's Firefox.

Notably, Chrome tends to be very popular in emerging markets like India, Russia, and Brazil.
