InfoWorld: InfoWorld has handed out its annual best of open source software awards, also known as “BOSSIES.” This year’s awards span several categories: business apps, desktop applications, databases, application development tools, networking and security software, data center and cloud software, and a “Now for something completely different” category for games and other time-wasters.

Winners in the business apps category include Movable Type, WordPress, Plone, Joomla, Drupal, Typo3, Alfresco, Gallery, SugarCRM, vTiger, Magento, Spree, FrontAccounting, Feng Office, GnuCash, OpenERP, Openbravo, xTuple, Orange HRM, OpenEMR, Pentaho, Liferay Portal and Diaspora.
