Apple CEO Steve Jobs Resigns

CNN: Wednesday night, Steve Jobs resigned his position as Apple’s CEO. Jobs will continue in his role as chairman, but current COO Tim Cook will take over as CEO.

Many believe Jobs’ deteriorating health played a role in his decision. In his resignation letter, he wrote, “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.”
