SAP Issues Preliminary Q2 Results, Says Software Revenue up 26%

Computerworld: According to a preliminary report issued by the company, SAP’s revenue climbed 26 percent in the second quarter to reach 1.06 billion euros ($1.3 billion). Revenue for software and software-related services climbed 21 percent during the period. Operating profit increased 7 percent. “Our record performance speaks for itself. We delivered double-digit growth in all regions driven by strong momentum from the core as well as SAP HANA, mobile and the cloud,” said co-CEOs Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe.

SAP will issue its full quarterly report July 24.
