BBC News: Three employees of Baidu, the dominant search engine in China, have been arrested and fired from their jobs because of accusations that they took bribes for deleting forum posts. A fourth employee has been fired, but not arrested. Baidu did not elaborate on which posts were deleted, but a spokesperson did say that the company suspected that the four employees accepted "tens of thousands of yuan" (thousands of dollars) for their actions.
"We have established that we will not accept any payment in handling online user complaints," said the Baidu spokesperson. "Baidu has continuously provided professional ethics education to staff members who are given authority to delete online posts."
