More Than 95 Percent of Organizations Expect to Maintain or Grow Their Use of SaaS Through 2010

However, only 39 percent of companies have a policy that covers evaluation and use of software as a service.

Gartner: In a recent survey of 270 IT professionals worldwide, 95 percent of respondents said their organizations plan to increase or maintain their current level of software as a service (SaaS) use. Over the next two years, 53 percent of organizations expect to increase their SaaS investment slightly, and 19 percent expect "significant" increases.

However, more than a third of respondents still had some concerns about cloud computing. And only 39 percent of enterprises have a policy for evaluating and using SaaS offerings.
