Ponemon Survey Names Twenty Most Trusted Companies for Privacy

Tech companies IBM, HP, and E-Bay make the top five on the list of those most trusted for privacy.

Ponemon Institute: The Ponemon Institute has released its annual Most Trusted Companies for Privacy Study. While American Express took the top place on the list, three tech companies made the top five: IBM, HP, and E-Bay. Google returned to the list after dropping off previously, while Facebook did not make the top 20 this year.

The list is based on a survey of 6,627 U.S. adults.
