Half of iPhone Users Buy at Least One App Per Month

AdMob's "January 2010 Mobile Metrics Report" reveals details about use of mobile app stores.

AdMob: In AdMob's latest survey, iPhone users were the most likely to purchase paid apps, with 50 percent buying at least one per month. Users of the iPod Touch came in second at 35 percent, followed by Palm WebOS (24 percent) and Android (21 percent).

When you also consider free apps, iPod Touch users downloaded the most apps per month, with an average of 12.1. That was followed by iPhone users with 8.8 downloads per month, Android users with 8.7 downloads per month, and WebOS users with 5.7 downloads per month.
