Research: 2010 State of Enterprise Storage

InformationWeek: "The best thing we can say about 2009 is that it’s over," the report begins. In fact, the survey reveals a number of facts about the current state of enterprise storage that are fairly alarming. For example:

• Nearly half of IT pros surveyed have insufficient storage for mission-critical applications.
• Compared to last year, more respondents say they have insufficient budgets to meet business demands.
• This year, more respondents have insufficient tools for storage management.
• More respondents also say they have insufficient storage resources for departmental/individual use.
