ChangeWave: In a December survey, 4 percent of smartphone users said they were currently using Google's Android operating system, but 21 percent of people planning to buy a smartphone said they planned to purchase an Android-based phone. That's a 15-point increase since the last survey taken three months ago. Android still trails those who plan to purchase iPhones (28 percent), and Blackberry purchases come in third (18 percent).
