Cisco Predicts Internet Use Will Quadruple by 2015

The Inquirer: Networking vendor Cisco has published a new report which predicts that by 2015, 15 billion devices will be connected to the Internet. That's the equivalent of two devices for every man, woman and child on the planet. Other forecasts included in the report include the following:

• By 2015, global Internet traffic will quadruple.
• By 2015, a million minutes of video will be transmitted over the internet every second.
• By 2015, Internet speeds will quadruple.
• By 2015, the world will use 1 zettabyte of digital storage.
