CNNMoney: Although the two companies have yet to make a formal announcement, unnamed sources say Twitter and TweetDeck have signed a deal. Twitter will pay more than $40 million in cash and stock for the popular app.
Earlier this year, reports said that UberMedia was in talks to buy TweetDeck, but no contracts were signed.
