Computerworld: The first time IT employment hit 4 million was in February 2008, but by the middle of 2009, 200,000 of those jobs had vanished. Now, TechServe Alliance is reporting that IT employment has finally regained all of those losses, hitting 4,009,900 in February of this year.

IT employment has been increasing for 16 straight months, but some observers warn that more layoffs may be coming soon. Some believe that Cisco and HP may both soon be reducing their workforce.
