MacWorld: Barely a week after their last testimony, executives from Apple and Google have again been summoned to testify before the Senate on privacy issues. Apple's vice president for worldwide government affairs, Catherine A. Novelli, and Google's director of public policy for the Americas, Alan Davidson, will be joined by Facebook CTO Bret Taylor and Common Sense Media’s president and COO, Amy Guggenheim Shenkan.

The group will appear before the Senate’s Consumer Protection, Product Safety and Insurance Subcommittee, led by Senator John D. (Jay) Rockefeller IV (D-WV), on May 19.
