PCWorld: On Thursday, Adobe released an update to its Flash player that patches several security vulnerabilities and gives users more control over privacy settings. Flash Player 10.3 includes a new control panel for managing cookies with Firefox and Internet Explorer. It also gives Mac OS X users a new feature that will automatically check for software updates.

Because the security updates are important, users are encouraged to install the update right away.
