Cnet: Researchers at Context Information Security say they have found a WebGL vulnerability that could allow attackers to use video cards as a way to compromise PCs. According to a blog post from the company, they have found two different ways to attack via WebGL. One would essentially shut down a system that had visited a rogue Web site, and the other could put user data at risk.

WebGL technology is enabled in newer versions of the Chrome and Firefox browsers. The company recommends that users disable the technology to avoid security threats.
