PCWorld: Security researcher Bojan Zdrnja of the Internet Storm Center reports that cyberattackers are now using Google's image search to distribute malware. At least 5,000 sites have been compromised, many of them Wordpress sites. When users click on images from those sites that appear in a Google image site, they are re-directed to a site offering fake anti-virus software.

These sites may be receiving as many as 15 million hits a month through Google image search. About 90 percent of the time, these malicious images appear on the first page of image search results.
