Groklaw: The judge in the patent dispute case between Oracle and Google has ordered Oracle to reduce the number of claims against Google from 132 to just 3. In addition, he has ruled that Oracle cannot bring new cases on the other 129 claims at a later date. Google was also ordered to reduce the number of prior art references it will use in defense.

The lawsuit concerns Oracle's claim that Google's Android mobile operating system violates Java-related patents.
